All In Good Time

It is the middle of summer. Life is busy with many good things to do. You can give your mind a break by setting a timer. Timers let us do one task with concentration, keep us from getting sucked down black holes of distraction, and set limits on disliked or loved tasks. So use your timer

  1. while reading reviews.
  2. for housecleaning, which will take any time allotted to it.
  3. when baking.
  4. for chilling in freezer, when you don’t want to actually freeze it.
  5. when writing. Writing is like housecleaning.
  6. to keep children working outside or to get them out of the pool on time.
  7. for reading on a busy day. Ten minutes is ten minutes!
  8. when you hear the words, Remind me to __________.
  9. anytime you turn on the garden hose.
  10. if you use any social media.

How is summer treating you? I’d like to hear about it in the comments if you have time. 😊
